Sport Phillip Marine is a retail outlet based in Mornington, gateway to the Mornington Peninsula of Victoria, Australia. Sport Phillip Marine has been in business over 30 years, is locally owned and operated and services participants of the boating, yachting & fishing community of the Mornington Peninsula from Frankston, Daveys Bay, Mt. Eliza, Mornington, Mt. Martha, Safety Beach, Martha Cove, Dromana, Rosebud, Rye, Blairgowrie, Sorrento and Portsea on Port Phillip Bay to Yaringa, Warneet, Somers, Hastings, and Flinders on Westernport Bay.

As a family business we are renowned for our exceptional customer service and ability to source product from over 300 suppliers and distributors, including Ronstan, Harken, International Paints, Norglass, RFD, Spotters, GME, Jarvis Walker, PENN, Shimano, West Systems, GILL, Zhik and MUSTO.

We genuinely provide everyday low prices and do not offer "loss leaders" as bait in order to charge more for regular products nor do we charge excessive freight or postage to recover margins as is common on internet sites, We offer "specials" where items are overtsocked, obsolete, remaindered or bulk purchased. Our experience and quantity of stock means we are most likely to have needed items in-stock and available to enable your immediate repair or activity.

To best service you, we are open everyday (other than Christmas day) from 8.00 a.m, to 6.00 p.m. and are on-call and deliver out of hours where necessary. Fishers planning an early start are encouraged to purchase items the day prior to their excursion.  Experience has shown that few serious fishers risk trying to purchase bait or tackle, fuel, or refreshments very early in the morning.

Sport Phillip Marine incorporates the registered businesses of Mornington Bait and Tackle and Mornington Outdoor Clothing Company. Other businesses may seek to trade on our name and reputation but we do not offer boat hire, dive or fishing charters. We can, without fear or favour, advise on the reputation of businesses that offer such activities based on our customer experience.

Due to the lack of parking in Main Street and near the pier, Sport Phillip Marine has moved from Main Street (after more than 30 years) and is now conveniently located at 1002 Nepean Highway, Mornington (alongside Super Cheap Autos, next but one to SHELL and opposite TOYOTA), with plenty of parking, air conditioning for your comfort and product in clearly identified sections  to assist in your shopping experience.
